Indian Sandalwood (Santalum album)


Clonal Solutions Australia has developed the protocols for the tissue culture propagation of sandalwood.

We are currently offering three superior clones of Indian Sandalwood (Santalum album). These clones of Indian origin have been selected for girth and oil content, and will be available in early 2010 for the Australian Sandalwood industry.

We also offer our tissue culture services to collaborate with plantation owners in mass producing superior individuals for their plantation improvement programmes.

Plants are supplied in Quickpots™ in 40 cell Hiko trays (or in the pot size of your choice), sun hardened and ready to plant.

Transport: As a guide, plants are dispatched in pallet-lots (approximately 6,000 plants) or semi-trailer loads (approximately 150,000 plants).
